How would you like to be involved in Weekly Bowls? Well, there is a weekly bowls gig held at the Christies Beach Bowling Club. This is on a Friday morning. This will have you involved with helping folks collect bowls, prepare morning tea & other things that help the group facilitator. You don’t need to be a bowler, just like being around older people. The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.
At Hackham Community Centre we are looking for volunteers with hearts full of sunshine and a pocketful of magic to support children aged 0-5 years in our weekly playgroups and creche. Volunteers will work alongside paid staff to support children in a community centre setting during school term times. Our team at Hackham Community Centre are warm and friendly.

The Willunga Environment Centre needs Reception Volunteers. Eg. Play a sport you don’t really enjoy, sing camp songs, act a little childish, all in the name of FUN!!
The cook sets the tone for the kitchen. The kitchen is considered an important area in the camp, one which can add to the nurturing of campers in a substantial fashion. The Cook should be capable of setting a structure for the kitchen’s operation that is safe and efficient, while remaining a warm and welcoming place. The Cook/s is responsible for the efficient operation of the kitchen and delivery of meals. To ensure food handling procedures and Health & Safety are met at all times.•
Provide care for cats by cleaning cat living areas, changing kitty litter, replenishing food and water, and providing social contact with animals being cared for.

They need someone to: * facilitate & support these volunteers fund raising activity * open up at 7:30 am and help set up for trading * be the on-site Covid Marshall * support the juniors if any simple problems arise * meet and greet patrons, explaining our venture * meet with the juniors occasionally to brain storm ideas
