Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House is looking for volunteers who can read with students, help with their homework, run games or activities (sport, art, music, science etc) or even just help prepare healthy snacks. Our homework club works with primary school children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in Sunshine, Albion and surrounding suburbs to support their learning and confidence.
Benowa State High School is seeking Literacy and Numeracy tutors looking to support our students. Volunteers would be required to commit to a term if possible and can offer anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. Tuition hours are 9am until 1pm week days.
Victor Harbor Sea Scouts is a family focused Scout group with programs full of fun, friendship, new skills and adventure. Scouts take part in a variety of outdoor activities, from traditional scouting skills such as camping, bush craft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hikes, canoeing, rock climbing, and even flying.
