Your primary focus will be creating an enriching opportunity for volunteers, building community, and facilitating training.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to building and maintaining a volunteer engagement strategy that supports the Project.
• Coordinate training induction sessions for new volunteers and provide ongoing training updates.
• Revise and enhance the policies and procedures documentation.
• Provide support services including scheduling, preparing materials, and effective follow-up.
• Advocate for initiatives for honoring and rewarding volunteers' efforts.
• Establish a feedback loop for volunteers to contribute to the project's processes.

About You

• Prior experience working in a Not-For-Profit environment or working with volunteers will be highly regarded.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse range of people.
• A passion for inspiring new volunteers.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• National Police Check, Blue card, and current driver’s license.

Since its inception, Project School Formal has supported hundreds of school leavers to create magical memories by providing access to pre-loved formal attire for end-of-school celebrations. In the current climate, many young people from our metro and regional areas are finding it more and more challenging to resource their formal attire.
