The Cube Wodonga - Ushers are needed to assist patrons during a show
We are seeking a compassionate volunteer for a 5-week program. In this role, you will be assisting with the KNOW YOUR GIZMO program. Year 10 students from Wodonga Senior Secondary College will assist senior citizens in our community to use electronic devices such as iPads, mobile phones, laptops, and smartwatches. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate communication and ensure the needs of the senior citizens and students are met during these interactions.
The role of Emergency Relief Volunteers is designed to provide valuable assistance to Council Officers in the set-up and smooth operation of the Emergency Relief Centre which aims to support community members who may be affected by an emergency.

Welcome consumers with referrals for a food parcel from Uniting Wodonga. Food given according to instruction on the food voucher referral form. • On food delivery days, assist other volunteers to restack shelves from delivered pallets. • Assist with keeping the centre clean and tidy. • Maintain records of consumer food parcels according to the system in place.
Conduct interviews with people who present to Uniting Wodonga seeking assistance with food or other forms of financial relief. • Facilitate referral to other programs of Uniting and other agencies as appropriate. • Assist with administrative tasks including answering the phone and taking messages as directed. • Maintain records of people’s visits according to the data system in place.
