We require a Ukulele Teacher to teach a class/classes for our members through out the term and school year. You will be offered a regular venue and support via a Tutor Co-ordinator to help you with your class.

The Volunteer Visitor will provide friendship and companionship through regular one-on-one/or group visits to older people residing in Australian Government Residential Aged Care Facilities and/or one-on-one visits to recipients of Footprints in Brisbane (Footprints) Home Care Packages (HCP) who are socially isolated or at risk of social isolation.
We are seeking people willing to visit one on one with residents in Aged Care Centres that would benefit from having a chat and interaction from someone from the community. This helps to alleviate feelings of loneliness, isolation and depression. It is as simple as having a cuppa and a chat and takes as little as 2 hours a month to bring happiness to the elder generation. Can you make a difference?
We are recruiting volunteers to visit with residents in Aged Care Centres to visit on a one-on-one basis to help prevent social isolation and feelings of loneliness. These visits make such a difference to the residents. It takes as little as 2 hours a month and is easy as having a cup of tea and a chat, a stroll around the centre with your resident or engaging in an activity such as a board game.
If you have a minimum of 1 hour a fortnight available in your busy calendar, are ready for fun, enthusiastic and compassionate and want to join our diverse community team of volunteers combating isolation .... oh and love drinking tea or coffee then read on.... you may be just who we are looking for!
