Volunteers are needed to visit with residents in Aged Care Centres in various locations.

We are in need of visitors in Burpengary, North Lakes, Kallangur, Narangba, Rothwell, Redcliffe, Lawnton, Aspley, Carseldine, Taigum, New Farm, Lutwyche and Mitchelton.

We are recruiting visitors to spend one on one time with a resident who will benefit greatly from having a visitor. These visits increase the resident's sense of community, self-worth and brighten their day. It helps prevent feelings of anxiety and loneliness. You can make a huge difference in the life of a resident.

It takes as little as 2 hours a month to make a difference and is easy as having a cup of tea and a chat, a stroll around the centre with your resident, to sit outside and watch the birds or play a game. Just being there and spending time with them makes a significant difference to their wellbeing.
