Meals on Wheels SA (MoWSA) is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help out with our Intergenerational Playgroups. As a volunteer, you will help with bringing together "elder friends" in the community with local families and their young children to engage in playful activities.
As part of the delivery team, you are on the “front line”, delivering our amazing meals out to our customers who need them. If you love a little chat, have a couple of hours in the middle of the day free and want to help out your local community, deliveries are for you! As we deliver in pairs, there are two role options, meaning you do not need to be able to drive or have use of a car to be able to deliver.

Every week, all sorts of people do all sorts of things for Meals on Wheels. If you’ve got a bit of time on your hands, we could do with you. If you are a people person with a little bit of organisational flair, you can help your local community by keeping the wheels turning at a Meals on Wheels branch as the Volunteer Coordinator.
A successful candidate will support the general manager in all marketing projects required for the communities which the organisation works with. This will primarily be for advertising and communicating messages to those in need. Our mission is to facilitate the prevention of obesity and chronic diseases. Additionally, we have a strong focus towards improve mental health and wellbeing.
The Footprints Volunteer plays an important role in their own local community, connecting with their existing networks including GPs, OB-GYNs, family, neighbours and friends, sharing Red Nose information, and leaving a Footprint in their community.
