• Help existing Playgroup Coordinators to set up playgroup activity materials and equipment based on the activities for the day.
• Maintain an accurate record of attendance of elder friends for each session. Assist with new attendees' registration, if required.
• Assist existing Playgroup Coordinator with leading the group in opening and closing group activities such as a song or story time.
• Keep an eye on the activities and help elder friends and young attendees to get involved and interact.
• Help our elder friends with support and guidance should they need it if they are using walkers, walking sticks, or wheelchairs.
• Help with packing up materials and equipment at the end of each session, making sure that the playgroup space is left clean and organised.
• Provide regular feedback to the Program Coordinator.
• Complete a weekly risk assessment checklist.

If no Working with Children Check is currently held, we are able to process one for you free of charge. If the Playgroup is via the SPiCE Catholic Education program, we can help you complete a Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide check and the RAN-EC training.
