Moreton Bay Region Visitor Information Centres are located across the region at Bribie, Redcliffe, Samford, Caboolture and Woodford and are open 7 days a week from 9am - 4pm. Volunteers are the welcoming ambassadors for the centres and mostly do a 4 hour shift once a week. Our volunteers enjoy promoting the Moreton Bay region and helping visitors with directions, maps, information and guides. We also offer opportunities for volunteers to be tour guides.

We are dedicated to providing visitors with a chance to learn about the history of both military and civil aviation and as such, rely on the efforts of our volunteers to play an important role to carry on the Museum’s 36 years existence.

At the Caboolture Historical Village we have many school excursions to educate our children about our cultural heritage. We demonstrate the use of a copper boiler to do washing, an old printing press, dairy equipment and blacksmithing. We also have a replica of the First Fleet and can give a talk about the first settlement at Port Phillip. We need people who can work well with children, keep them interested and entertained. All training will be provided.
