Deakin University are seeking voluntary Animal Welfare members (Category C) to join the Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) in Geelong, Victoria.
Under the supervision of the Office Administrator and/or Manager, the Reception Volunteer will be responsible for supporting the various administrative duties and the day-to-day operations of the centre including but not limited to greeting visitors, answering phone, directing queries, taking payments and enrolments for classes and activities. The Reception Volunteer must embrace BLLC values of: connection, respect, support and responsiveness.
Under the supervision of the Foodbank Co-ordinator the Foodbank Volunteer will support the various duties associated with the running of the Foodbank program. The Foodbank Volunteer reports directly to the Foodbank Co-ordinator. In the absence of the Foodbank Co-ordinator the volunteer will report to the Manager. The Foodbank Volunteer must embrace BLLC values of: connection, respect, support and responsiveness. *NOTE: Foodbank volunteers cannot be current recipients of Foodbank at BLLC.

The role is to conduct interviews and data entry. They need to be reliable and strive to service our applicants with integrity, honesty and care. It is desirable that the successful applicant can commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months to maximize the benefits of experience and training in the role.
