The volunteer Doorways Storeroom Assistant works actively during and outside of community opening hours to ensure material aid supplies are available for community members to collect. Working behind the scenes in a small team this role supports the important work of the local Doorways site with physical strength and a flair for presentation.

We are looking for someone to be able to have meaningful 1:1 engagement with residents that may be isolated in their rooms. These engagements would include playing board games, reading the newspaper, conducting conversations, and doing puzzles. Also to assist with team members with large group activity task would include scoring, providing encouragement and generally providing an excited ambiance.
