Role Repair Café Coordinator Role for 15 hours a month to coordinate online appointments and arrangements required for monthly Repair Café workshops, and, attend workshops on the first Saturday of every month from 7:45am to 12 Noon at the Redcliffe Uniting Church, 1 Richens Street, Redcliffe.

Ideal Skills • Good communication, networking and writing skills • Attention to detail • Coordinate volunteer availability and repair appointments • Monthly workshop setup and bump out • Excel, Word, Online booking platform skills are desirable • Knowledge of equipment to be able to tease out repair requirements is ideal • Social media and grant writing skills are ideal • Attend Committee Meetings.

Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they are all about repairing household equipment. Items typically repaired are clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, and more. Expert volunteers have repair skills in all kinds of fields.

The Repair Café does not compete with professional repair specialists.
