The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf Carringbush Adult Education.

Volunteer Digital Literacy tutors help students learn important digital literacy skills needed in the Additional Language (EAL) classroom and in their daily lives. The classes are led by a qualified EAL teacher and our classroom digital mentor. Students follow a structured program, designed to build progressively on their skills.

Volunteer Digital Literacy tutors help students in 3 different EAL classes (from Beginner to Post beginner levels) on the Richmond Housing Estate. The volunteer assists the EAL teacher and mentor by moving around the room and giving students 1:1 support on their iPad or smartphone.

The program currently runs Tuesdays, 9.30-12.30.
