The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Rotary Club of Kew, Fair Trade & Gift Shop.

Volunteer/s are needed who are reliable and trustworthy. You will need to be eager to assist in our retail shop in Kew East. You will be helping sort stock, ensuring all stock is clean and presentable, so it can be strategically displayed. Enjoy interacting with the customers using your clear courteous communication skills. This role is varied and will provides valuable insight into all aspects of retail operations.

If you've worked in retail before, you will be familiar with POS, a computerised sale system. If not, and you're eager to learn, we will teach you. You will also be trained to operate the EFT machine. As Team Leader your knowledge of local community groups and ability to compose communication will be well received. The Fair Trade and Gift Shop needs you and your reliability. Bring your enthusiasm and skills each Saturday from 10 am – 5.00 pm. In return for your time and efforts, you will receive:
