Australian Rotary Clubs are part of an international network of business, professional and community leaders who strive to make the world a better place through practical efforts. Our activities include volunteering at home and overseas and fund raising in support of local, national, and international humanitarian projects. We are involved in a broad range of programs locally and internationally including a mentoring program in the Victoria Police Force, the Life after Stroke program, providing volunteers for Angel Flight, supporting Donations in Kind, raising funds for refugees in Greece, participating in the Sumba eye project in East Indonesia, offering Student Exchanges and lots more. The Rotary Club of Kew also plays its part in Timor Leste (East Timor). It has helped set up about one hundred micro businesses. 100% of funds raised remains in Timor-Leste as each enterprise is self-sustained and we provide training and expansion capital.
