Role Purpose

The Fundraising Manager leads the organisation’s fundraising activities and events. In addition, they are responsible for the relevant strategy for growing TOL’s income from the public, philanthropic and corporate sectors.

The overarching aim of this role is to increasingly diversify and build on the existing fundraising revenue base to ensure TOL can continue to deliver programs supporting youth mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, support and deliver fundraising events and activities organised directly by TOL (including overseeing volunteers) and encourage external participation in events.
  • Generating an increase in revenue from new and existing sources and initiatives;
  • Leading the development, implementation and review of fundraising strategies;
  • Delivering on the annual fundraising KPIs in line with the organisations' strategic plan; and
  • Providing high-level strategic advice to the Management Team (MT), CEO and Board.

Desired Experience

  • Proven fundraising & event management experience
  • Good financial acumen.
  • Experience managing diverse relationships with various external agencies/suppliers.
  • A track record as both a strategic thinker and implementer
