Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) is a service providing primary and preventive care for our community members who are at risk of poor health outcomes, and experience health disparities. The HECHT Volunteer Program is an essential part of HECHT adult day activity Centre. HECHT supports older people and people with disabilities to remain living in their own home by providing a range of enjoyable and meaningful activities.

The Family & Child Hub is suite of child and family health and wellbeing services, all located under one roof. The services are both internal and external to SCHS and together have a ‘no wrong door’ approach to navigating the individual health and wellbeing pathways of families and children. The Family & Child Hub specifically focuses on the Social Determinants of Health, ensuring health equity.

Homebase HOOPS is a 4-6 week (during school terms), evening basketball tournament for youth in the Mildura and surrounding region. Supported by local community organisations & volunteers. Homebase HOOPS is a fun, safe & supported activity for youth. The idea is not competitive, but to ensure everyone has an enjoyable night and gets a turn on court. As a volunteer at SCHS, you will be working with the youth of Mildura to assist with the HOOPS program.
