Retail Assistant at the Friends of the Pound Pre-Loved opportunity shop. The duties will be under the direction of the Team Leader Pre-Loved and will involve sorting donated garments and accessories, washing and ironing items for sale, display items as directed. Retail experience would be an asset but not necessary. Friends of the Pound (Tweed) Inc. are an animal rescue organization and rely on the sale of pre-loved items to support the feeding and vet work of the animals in our care.

Fund Raising and Raffle Sales is a voluntary position for Friends of the Pound (Tweed) Inc. The role is to raise funds for our organisation via raffle sales in shopping malls. The money raised will be used in the feeding and care of the dogs and cats being housed with Friends of the Pound.

Friends of the Pound require Volunteer Cattery Assistants to work in our cattery at U17/39-41 Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads South. N.S.W. 2486. We are offering unemployed, retired or TAFE students the opportunity to work with our cats as a Cattery Volunteer.
