Treasure Boxes’ Volunteer Warehouse Assistants work collaboratively with our Volunteers, Floor Coordinators and Warehouse Coordinator to support operational efficiencies and safety in our warehouse by helping to fulfill orders, accepting donations, moving, and storing stock, performing general cleaning and maintenance tasks, and supporting our overall efforts in workplace health and safety.
Are you interested in clinical and community based volunteer work? Are you over the age of 18 & physically fit? Volunteer with your local sub-centre as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer. Attend emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls as well as other duties as required. Commitment is approx 60 hours annually, based on 1 shift plus training per month. To continue to operate in your role, you must maintain the competencies required & appropriate level of fitness as roles are physically demanding.
Volunteers undertake various roles according to their abilities, interests and what they are comfortable with. Support members undertake non operational roles eg. welfare, communications and peer support.
