Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.

We are looking for a volunteer, preferably a male, to spend some quality time with an elderly Greek man who lives in an Aged Care Facility in Doncaster East. Your visit may be spent reminiscing, having a talk and a laugh while having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk.

We are looking for volunteer preferably a male and preferably somebody who can speak Greek to spend some quality time with an elderly greek man who lives in Doncaster East. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days about travelling and family while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk.
