  • Activity Centre Assistant/Bus Host

    Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. 3 Centres in the Central Coast located at Gosford, Gorokan and Woy Woy. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. If there is a particular role you are interested in, then that is completely up to you.

    Our Volunteers on our Social Outings Trips lend a hand in assisting our clients on and off the buses and to navigate their way around an exhibition, a garden or the theatre. Our outings are many and varied and you will have a great time. We are a friendly team and our drivers work alongside our assistants and carers to ensure we all have a lot of laughs and a lot of fun. We also reimburse our volunteers $30 per day to cover any out-of-pocket expenses.
