The purpose of the Volunteer Coordinator role is to understand, meet and support the health and well-being needs of the Rafiki Mwema volunteer community through advocacy, inclusion, access and recognition. The role will play a key part in the on-going management and support of our Volunteers. It is noted that this position description may change as the needs of Rafiki Mwema change.
As a Mental Health Promotion Ambassador, you will passionately advocate for mental health awareness and well-being within your community. You will engage with diverse audiences to promote the work of the charity, you will refer other young people to our educational presentations, facilitate workshops, and events that promote mental health literacy, reduce stigma, and encourage help-seeking behaviors to educate you further in this space.
