Vinnies Roadhouse provides a safe and welcoming environment for people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, and people experiencing social isolation. This role supports the daily operations of Vinnies Roadhouse by providing access to a hot evening meal, material aid, support, and referral services.

MDFA's Peer Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with aged-related macular degeneration to share their stories and ask questions of their peers. The Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.

MCCI is looking for a volunteer to assist the facilitator in the kitchen and with activities in our vibrant Italian group. The Italian group runs every fortnight on a Tuesday in Belconnen.
MCCI supports older people from multicultural backgrounds. Our Volunteer Drivers provide door to door transport for clients attending MCCI social support groups. Normal car licence only required. Full training provided.
