Centacare FNQ is the lead provider of multicultural services in Far North Queensland. We have been delivering programs that promote a safe, welcoming and supportive space for newly arrived refugee and migrant communities, as well as those seeking asylum for over a decade. We are in need of volunteers who have basic skills as a Carpenter and is willing to pass on the knowledge to refugee and migrant communities to up skill them and help them into employment. At least two individuals work in the shop each shift. The shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9am till noon. Hours will be extended till 3pm on weekdays, if staffing permits. Shifts of either half day. Full day is negotiable
