We are looking for volunteers who are interested in assisting an English Literacy Tutor for migrants & refugees
Breakfast club. A small group of participants arrive early, often without having breakfast, The Breakfast Club aims to provide a social breakfast whilst teaching good healthy food choices. We are looking for a volunteer to facilitate this program, seek food donations from local businesses and teach participants how to prepare breakfast in a social environment. No experience required, just an enthusiasm to be involved and support young adults with a disability.
Spend time with an elderly lady living in a residential aged care home in the Noble Park area. She loves music, going to the shops and she used to knit. You'll help provide companionship as well as maintain their healthy wellbeing as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.
