Seeking passionate long-term Volunteer Guides:

Volunteering at the NCA is a rewarding opportunity to inspire diverse audiences, building an appreciation of our National Capital.

Guides will be provided with relevant training. The NCA supports flexible work life demands.

The activities of a Volunteer Guide include:

  • Presenting education programs to school students
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors
  • Conducting walking tours of along Anzac Parade, Reconciliation Place, the shore of Lake Burley Griffin or within the Old Parliament House Gardens
  • Assisting with activities related to special events such as Reconciliation Day, the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival and National Volunteer Week
