This position will report directly to the Management Committee and requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy for K9 Rescue Group (Inc)
• Provide expert guidance and advice to the Committee on all financial and fundraising matters
• Lead and oversee financial planning for the organisation
• Ensure compliance with all governance and regulatory requirements, including the management of policies, procedures, controls, reporting, and financial records
• Present monthly financial reports and budget updates at Committee Meetings and the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
• Ensure compliance with all HR and award obligations for the two paid staff members
• Perform necessary financial duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Receive support from our dedicated bookkeeper for day-to-day transactions
• Work alongside a dedicated and friendly team of Committee members.
