‘Front of House’ volunteers are required at the hospital to meet and greet visitors and patients; to escort visitors to their destinations; to assist staff at main reception as required; to provide companionship to those waiting in the lobby area etc. Volunteers may also need to instruct visitors in terms of signage and how to follow colour coding, remind people to wear their masks, deliver occasional flowers parcels, that have been left at reception, to patient's rooms. This role involves a lot of walking: often usually 4 - 6 km on average. Volunteers need to be friendly and easily able to speak with others.
