Benefits Volunteers for the Sydney Science Trail (SST) stand to gain numerous benefits. They can develop valuable skills in education and science communication, honing their abilities to engage diverse audiences. The opportunity to network with professionals and educators in the science community may open doors to future collaborations or career paths. Contributing to a meaningful event that promotes science education brings personal fulfillment, while recognition for their efforts enhances satisfaction and motivation. Volunteers also have the chance to deepen their own scientific knowledge through access to exhibitions at the Australian Museum and Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. By supporting National Science Week and fostering science literacy among students and the public, volunteers play a pivotal role in their community's enrichment and engagement with science.
