We are a neighbourhood house and we run sewing classes on Saturdays throughout the term.

Would you like to assist the tutor in the class, to help our beginner's students grasp the skills of sewing? With no more than 9 in the class, ideally we would like someone who can assist the students set up their machines and be an extra pair of hands in the class.

Classes are set to start on Saturday 27 July until Saturday 21 September from 1 - 4pm.

This volunteer position requires a person with a friendly disposition and a community-spirited attitude who enjoys assisting and encouraging others.

We are open to this being a shared role if a volunteer was only available every fortnight. Give us a call and we can discuss options.
