The Deputy Chair of OGV supports the Chair in the administration and operation of OGV's activities. This includes:

1. Being an active member of the Committee of Management (CoM).
2. Chairing CoM meetings in the absence of the Chair, as per Rule 46 of OGV Rules.
3. Being a member of the OGV Governance sub-committee.
4. Monitoring and administering OGV HR issues and obligations, and advising the OGV CoM on such matters.
5. Administering Chair duties where the Chair is unavailable, or needs to delegate matters due to workloads.
