Keen green thumbs - Downfall Creek

Brisbane City Council Environment Centres

Seeking keen volunteers to support the maintenance of the compost hub and gardens surrounding Downfall Creek Bushland Centre. Downfall Creek is a beautiful slice of natural space and is well-loved by the Chermside community. The gardens that surround the Bushland Centre and the playground are not only beautiful, but also support Downfall Creek’s rich ecosystem of animal and insect life – including our native bee hive. This is the perfect opportunity for people who enjoy being outdoors and learning about nature.
