Event Crew Position Description Your key tasks and responsibilities will involve: • Assist the Competition Manager in duties where required • Assist with venue set up and pack down including set up and pack down of sporting equipment and field of play requirements, water station refills and other tasks as required • Assist in tracking sport equipment i.e. ensuring footballs are returned after each game • Assisting with scoring and timekeeping duties and online results entry where required • Assist with medal presentation set up and ceremonies where required • Assist with opening ceremony or championship event set up, ushering, activations and pack downs • Other duties as required to assist with the successfully delivery of the event and sport competition

We are looking for someone who: ✓ Excellent communication skills ✓ Ability to work as part of a team ✓ Enthusiastic and motivated approach ✓ Well-developed customer service and problem-solving skills ✓ Exercise judgement and work without supervision ✓ Be an unbiased non-competitor at the event ✓ Uphold UniSport policies and guidelines

Key information: • This is an event time role requiring availability for 2024 SSAG01 • Shifts will be available from 25 July to 3 August 2024 • The role will involve some lifting and shifting of equipment such as signage, marquees boxes and tables • No accommodation or travel expenses will be covered • A full induction to UniSport and School Sport Australia, training, uniform, and meals (when on shift) will be provided • A minimum of 3 shifts will need to be committed to for this role • Certificates, references and education professional practice recognition available
