WesleyCare Mt Gravatt is a Specialist Disability Accommodation Community making a difference in the lives of adults living with complex and high support needs. We are looking for friendly people interested in regularly visiting and being a social friend to individuals living in their own apartment in Mt Gravatt. In this particular role, a lovely lady would enjoy visits from someone with a keen interest in 3D art, creating beaded jewellery, plants/gardening, concerts and going out for coffee.

 Visiting times available: Tuesday

In the role of Volunteer Visitor, you will assist in ensuring people can remain actively engaged and inspired daily. Quality time shared can include chatting, playing a game, watching a movie, going out for a cuppa or working on a hobby together.

Volunteers are not involved in providing clinical or personal care to the people they visit.

This role follows a COVID-19 safe work plan, and all volunteers work under the conditions of entry and rules for visiting made by the Specialist Disability Accommodation Home.
