What does the position do?

• Provide one to one literacy support to adult learners.
• Volunteer tutors share their skills and knowledge and work in an equal partnership towards the students’ goals patiently and without judgement.
• Volunteer tutors will be matched with a student based on availability and skill set.
• No experience required however good English literacy skills and reliability are highly desired.

Location and times

• A mutually agreed on public location and time for 1 hour per week. A commitment of 1 year is desirable.
