This is an opportunity for a potential barista, experienced or not, to serve their community by helping to provide low-cost food and beverage service to the public!

Key activities: · Prepare and manage the expresso machine and ensure it is clean and ready for service. · Set up all the hot drink condiments including cups, utensils, milk and related materials. · Assist with taking coffee/tea orders. · Operate the cash register and Eftpos machines. · Assist in creating a welcoming, friendly and caring environment. · Refer people to appropriate Salvation Army services. All volunteers are to be mindful of their own health and to take care of the health and safety of others. · Volunteers are required to comply with all TSA work, health and safety policies and procedures as applicable to their workplace

Mandatory Requirements of the Position: · Complete The Salvation Army (TSA) Mission Volunteer registration, induction and training - TSA is a ChildSafe workplace. · Integrity checks as required for the role.
