You can see how the Vinnies magic happens when you are volunteering with us. Each of our Centres is a shop-family, with all volunteer roles designed so that each worker gets the most from what they are doing.

Vinnies shops raise money to help people who can’t afford the basics. But there’s another benefit. The items we sell are donated, so this means we’re extending the life of garments, aiding circular fashion and helping the planet as well.

• Undertake stock movements and collections from our shop. • Assist with regional transport during peak periods, as required. • Safely unload and load trailers • The ability/fitness to undertake physical demands of the role. Ability to lift to 15 kgs. • Maintain a healthy and safe work environment. • Represent The St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn with positivity, enthusiasm, and professionalism. • Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality. • The ability to work autonomously and use initiative. • Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
