BinderKeepers Inc is community orientated and provides members books covering from baby to senior ages for borrowing. Our community library has a huge collection of books written by Australians and books referencing Australia. Special reference sections in Military, Transport (focusing on Aviation History, Gardening, Art and Self Help. Every item on display has been donated by members of the local and surrounding communities.

At the same time funds are progressively accumulating for an eco-friendly community building to act as a venue for the Community Library, stage for Theatre & live Music and Art. Volunteers assist in marketing surplus books for sale online and establish a greater reach for more substantial funding opportunities.

The main collection of fiction and non-fiction books is stored in two well ventilated, open-sided shipping containers.

Duties include sorting, stamping and labelling books for all ages, as well as shelving books. Excess books are packed into cartons (approx. 10-15kg in weight).
