MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteers share stories, help with a hobby, interest or activity, share a cuppa and a chat, enjoy a walk, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have an 85 year old gentleman who lives in an Aged Care Home in Sunshine and he would enjoy the company of a male Greek speaking friend to chat with, spend time in the garden or make and paint things together.

If you are looking for a volunteer role that brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.

You need to be caring, reliable and be willing to commit to fortnightly connections for 6-12 months.
