The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of The Boroondara Stroke Support Group (BSSG).

The Boroondara Stroke Support Group (BSSG) was started by a stroke survivor over 20 years ago to support other stroke survivors and their carers in rebuilding their post-stroke lives.

The group runs a variety of activities to provide social support to its members.

BSSG is currently looking for more volunteers to join its Lawn Bowls team. This is one of the most loved activity and We are always hunt for volunteers for this role. As this role requires you to potentially push members in wheelchairs or who require walking frames you will need to be physically fit. Bonus points if you know how to play bowls.

We are a fun and caring team, supported by a part-time Hub Administrator. Our aim is to support stroke survivors in rebuilding their post stroke lives.  We would love you to join us.
