Community Liaison & Concierge Volunteer

The Community Liaison & Concierge Volunteer will improve the experience of visitors and services users supporting their engagement and support the team with the delivery of activities and events.
Community Liaison & Concierge Volunteers will:

greet visitors and services users directing them to the area and/or activity they are attending

connect service users with the services they are seeking
-
assist visitors and services users in accessing and using the computers in the computer area
-
provide practical assistance in completing forms
-
support the team in setting up and packing up areas for group and clinics including rearranging furniture, arranging tea/coffee, catering etc
-
providing general reception and special event support
You will need:

excellent communication skills

posses a welcoming, supportive and practical approach

respect the individuality of each service user/visitor and treat them in a caring and non judgmental manner

Ability to refrain from imposing your own philosophical, moral or religious standards/beliefs upon service users

Ability to support Mission Australia purpose and values and work in accordance with policies and procedures
