Brisbane Portrait Prize Exhibition Volunteer

Brisbane Portrait Prize

Logo for Brisbane Portrait Prize

The Brisbane Portrait Prize provides a platform for artists to tell rich and diverse stories about our city’s icons and unsung heroes. This year we’re excited to be opening a new chapter at the home of storytelling in Queensland, State Library of Queensland.

Each year we recruit a team of passionate volunteers to help us run our Finalists Exhibition.

Our volunteers are responsible for greeting visitors, answering general enquiries, and leading short daily tours of the exhibition.

Volunteering at the Brisbane Portrait Prize is a great way to immerse yourself in the local creative community, make connections and share your passion for the Arts. It’s also a great way to gain insight into the behind-the-scenes operations of a public exhibition.
