Trentwood at the Hub Community House is seeking a volunteer to lead the Repair Cafe Team of volunteers. We are seeking a volunteer to take on the role of Repair Cafe Facilitator. The role will include managing volunteer attendance and keeping the team updated on information and planning related to the monthly Repair Cafes.

They will also coordinate the set up and stations for each monthly Cafe and arrange the purchasing of tools and consumables as required.

The role also includes networking with other Repair Cafes, closed-loop/environmental networks and the Boroondara Council as well as ensuring social media platforms are up to date and any inquiries are responded to.

The Facilitator seek funding opportunities and will liaise with the Trentwood Community Engagement Coordinator regarding marketing, promotional activities and annual planning requirements.

A commitment to reducing waste, the ability to lead a team of volunteers and strong interpersonal and communication skills will be key to this role.
