We need a hairdresser or barber to provide hair cuts / trims for our patrons, to help us extend the care we offer to our community. We would need you any Tuesday evening from 7:15 - 8:30 We'd love a kind person with a bit of free time any Tuesday evening, to come along and join us ~ once a week, once a month or once a fortnight. We are a local Blacktown LGA charity which runs a communal meal service each Tuesday evening at the Lalor Park Community Hall. The community we care for are individuals and families at great social and financial disadvantage, people struggling to meet life's basic needs. We provide a warm meal, food for the week, clothing, fruit and veg and lots, lots more and we'd love to add this special kind of care to the services we offer - but we need YOU to join us! A barber or a hairdresser can help us to provide our patrons with some extra sparkle and care- It's a special skill YOU have, that can make the world of difference for people ~ It doesn't have to be fancy ~ a simple service is all we are looking for ~ just a little extra care for people who can't afford the nice things in life, to spruce them up a little, make them feel cared for and restore some dignity.
