The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Canterbury Area Toy Library.

Canterbury Toy Library has recently moved into a beautiful new space at the Canterbury Community Precinct at 2 Kendall Street, Canterbury and is looking for volunteers to help us run our new opening sessions.

The particular focus of this role will involve checking toys that have been returned as well as returning toys to the shelves. The environment is relaxed and supportive, you will be working as part of a team with other volunteers.

We're seeking applicants that are able to commit to at least 1 volunteer shift per fortnight.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Using a tablet or computer to return toys
  • Checking returned toys and counting pieces
  • Returning toys to the shelves
  • Assisting the Coordinator with general tasks as needed

Skills and Experience:

  • Good concentration skills
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Be friendly and reliable

Please note applicants must be 18+ for this volunteer role. This role will require you to be available Thursday afternoons.
