Generation Australia offers 'Get Into Tech' training programs in Cyber Security, Web Development, Cloud, and Data Analytics, providing comprehensive support to individuals facing barriers to employment. We offer various resources post-program including networking events, mentoring sessions, and employer connections, to facilitate and empower our participants' as they transition into the workforce.

Here's what you'll do:

• Guide unemployed individuals who have just completed our 'Get Into Tech' programs.
• Support them in building essential employability skills: resume writing, interview preparation, networking strategies, and workplace communication.
• Work with a curriculum we provide, but also share your own industry experience to make their journey impactful.

This is your chance to:

• Empower individuals facing barriers to employment (CALD background, First Nations people, parents returning to work, Women in Tech, and young people) to thrive in the tech industry.
• Give back to your community and share your valuable knowledge.
• Make a real difference in someone's life and career path.

Essential skills we're looking for:

• Currently employed within the tech industry. If you've taken a career break or worked in the industry within the last 3 years then we'd also love to hear from you!
• Enthusiasm for helping others succeed.
• Previous coaching or mentoring experience would be a bonus, but is not a requirement.
• Access to a computer/laptop, a good internet connection, and the ability to access Teams or Zoom.
