1. What is the Pink Cross Foundation Australia?

Pink Cross is a not-for-profit founded by a survivor with lived experiences of the s-x industry. Pink Cross’ purpose is to offer therapeutic support for those who have been trafficked, with experience of the s-x industry, and buyers of the trade. Pink Cross offers evidence-based, mental health services, activism initiatives and education. In all our activities, we are promoting safe, healthy and respectful human relationships devoid of coercive control and any forms of human rights abuse. We are fighting for a world where all people can live, thrive and enjoy life without commercial s-xual exploitation. You can find out more about us at pinkcross.org.au.

We are looking for someone who can commit to a regular publication schedule. Remote work is ideal if deadlines are able to be met.

2. Reporting to the Communication Manager, this role’s duties include, but are not limited to:

• Collaboration with other Content Writers
• Ability to write one page article and/or press releases that can be distributed to external supporters
• Engaging and informative articles for our blog and social media posts
• Engaging with stakeholders to get an understanding of the requirements from the content

3. The ideal candidate must have:

• A passion about Pink Cross’ mission

• Strong time management and organisation

• Detail oriented

• Be solution and initiative driven

• Possess strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills

• Desirable: previous experience in content writing, journalism or research writing. An interest in Psychology and/or local and international politics
