The successful volunteer will be a key player in the HR team to support end-to-end recruitment, consulting across a variety of portfolios, as well as develop processes to engage both mentors and committee members. This is an excellent opportunity to develop yourself both personally and professionally.

Specific responsibilities include:

Support recruitment for the CHASE program and committee

  • Supporting the HR Manager with planning, implementing and evaluating recruitment procedures for both committee members and mentors
  • Assist to create and implement recruitment screening, assessment, selection and induction processes
  • Ensure Policies and Operations Manual is up-to-date with current best practice
  • Assist in managing the recruitment inbox and handling incoming applications and enquiries
  • Assist with candidate interview and developing induction materials

Monitor and maintain CHASE volunteer engagement and wellbeing

  • Assist in the completion of the biannual wellbeing survey, including the planning, delivery and analysis of results
  • Complete check-ins with committee members to facilitate engagement and wellbeing

Policies and procedures

  • Ensure Policies and Operations Manual is up-to-date with current best practice
  • Maintain and monitor all HR documents, ensuring information is stored and recorded accordingly
  • Advise committee members of changes in policies and procedures, answering queries and resolving issues
  • Continuously look to improve current processes
