Join our dedicated team at Vision Australia and help make music accessible to individuals with vision impairments through our Braille Music Transcription Service.

Make a meaningful impact by helping clients use Braille music for rehearsals, studying at school or university, and in private teaching practices.

Specific Duties:

• Dictating print music to a proofreader who will produce in Braille using Braille software

• Copy holding music with a Braille proofreader, where the proofreader will read the Braille music and the copyholder volunteer will make sure it matches the print

• Support the team remotely over the phone, with music scores emailed to you for transcription

Time Required:

Time commitment is one day a week, with preference from Tuesday to Thursday during business hours for 3 hours. Times are flexible.
