Fundraising Manager (part time)

The role will require people to:
· help formalise and improve the fundraising and donations program to ensure successful income streams that are efficient to administer and are consistent with our values.
· engage with donors in the community, connecting with them and letting them know that we appreciate the difference their support makes
· thanking existing donors and welcoming new supporters through warm and engaging conversations.
Key responsibilities (may be shared to manage workloads):
· Develop a fundraising strategy
· Develop an annual event program that meets the fundraising objectives
· Measure and report on the performance of the program against the desired goals
· Processing donations for fundraising appeals via Salesforce
· Entering donor data or cleaning imported data into Salesforce
· Packing welcome and campaign packs for new donors
Key Skills:
· Experience in fundraising campaigns.
· Confident in presenting and communicating to potential donors in a professional and friendly manner
· Ability to conduct research and undertake networking to ensure new prospects are identified
· Excellent networking, negotiation and influencing skills to liaise with potential donors
· Capacity to work with corporate partners.
Desirable skills:
· Experience working in a small not-for-profit and/or community sector
· Experience working with corporate partners
· Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative and flexibility
· Demonstrated a good team player as well as ability to work alone
· Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Teams and Salesforce
